Getting Licensed
In order to get a real estate license in Pennsylvania, you have four steps to complete:
Complete 75 hours of class hours from an accredited source, pass the exam (national and state), pick a broker, and submit your application to the state.
Completing Classes
Based upon your learning style, you can take classes a few ways: online, livestreaming, or in person. You need 75 hours of class, and it's broken into Fundamentals and Practice. The Foundations class goes over terms, legal requirements, and the types of real estate licenses. Practice is applying that knowledge to transactions and situations.
You are not limited to only using these sources, but they are compiled for your convience. Before purchasing anything, be sure it's an accredited course. It won't count unless it's accredited.

Pass the Exam
After passing classes, you can sit for your exam! There are options for going to attend at a testing location or taking it at home with a proctor. The two parts of the exam are the national portion and the state portion. You need to pass both parts to continue. If you need to retake any portion of the exam, you schedule again.
Picking a Brokerage
Being licensed in PA means you need to hang your license under a brokerage! Find the right one for you. The broker will have to "sign" your application on the PALS system in order to get your application moved forward. To learn more about RealtyCo, check this info out.
Applying to the State
With your passing transcript from your classes, passed national test transcript, passed state transcript, and a broker approval, you can complete the application for the official license. You have to create an account on the PALS system, upload your transcipts, a criminal background check, and anything else they ask for. After a few days, you should hear back about your license!
