Derrick Lubomski

Born and raised in Penn Hills and then attending Pitt for a BS in Civil Engineering with a certificate in Project Management, you could say I really know Pittsburgh after spending my life here! I love this city and everything that it offers: from diverse people, to great food trucks, to winning sports teams. After I graduated Pitt, I worked in the field of project management for commercial construction, while also acquiring a few rental properties. After realizing I loved real estate more than engineering, I moved into property management to learn more about running a business with over 250 units.

Combining all my years experience in engineering and in property management, you could say I know properties inside and out! I made the jump into sales and quickly knew this was a great match for my personality and knowledge set. While I'm known to do investor transactions because I run into them more, I'm also very happy to help owner occupants buy or sell their homes. I feel I add a good amount of knowledge above the average agent that makes owner occupants feel more comfortable in transactions. In fact, I've recently been helping some of my tenants become first time homeowners! Hard to see them go as good tenants, but I'm happy to see them making the steps toward building equity.
